AMSTERDAM – Today, adult VR entertainment site, WankzVR announced the completion and launch of their new and improved camera rig. WankzVR is a virtual reality company that started producing adult VR content in early February of 2016. Since then, the company has released 23 standalone VR films and is set to roll out their latest scene, “Bathtime with Cece” which is the first VR release to be filmed using the company’s new camera rig. Going forward, WankzVR’s technical improvements will include upgraded and fluid 60fps from the previous 30fps, accurate real-world scaling and an increased vibrant color palette.
WankzVR lead video editor, Liam says that when the company first got started developing VR, they focused on resolution and visual fidelity only to realize that frame rates were much more prioritized.
“People crave content at frame rates much higher than conventional television or film frame rates, as it helps to more accurately emulate real life. So, the more frames per second that we are able to deliver, the less choppy the VR scene will appear. Our new and improved camera rig also improved our real-world scale making performers appear as lifelike in size and proportion as possible. All of these factors aid in creating a truly immersive and breathtaking VR environment for our users.”
