AMSTERDAM – Adult virtual reality company, WankzVR is happy to announce that PlayStation VR support is now available for its entire catalogue of VR scenes. The PlayStation VR (PS VR) headset was developed by Sony and released in October of 2016. This virtual reality head-mounted display is specifically engineered to work with the PlayStation 4 console. The PS VR has had some growing pains since the release but has secured a place in the evolving marketplace. WankzVR continues to anticipate and accommodate for this growth and other hardware trends as the VR industry evolves.
Upon the release, the PlayStation VR (PS VR) was said to support 360-degree video. Industry experts are quick to note that the PS VR did not support 3D side-by-side 180-degree video playback out of the box.
WankzVR spokesman, Bradley Phillips explains, “It’s understandable that Sony’s PlayStation VR wants to stay in their lane and concentrate on gaming. It’s only a matter of time before the right app is developed that allows users to enjoy 3D SBS videos. We are taking the preemptive approach by offering a PS VR option for our videos.”
Newly developed Apps like Littlstar VR Cinema app for PS VR help provide a seamless experience for PlayStation users. WankzVR is closely monitoring the PS VR’s development and adapting their formats as software evolves.
